Welcome to my website. Here you will find details of my musical compositions and details of upcoming events. As a Holy Faith Sister, my faith is central to my music ministry. As a choral director, I endeavour to share my music in a variety of ways and situations. In addition to my compositions in liturgical and sacred music, I draw on many of life’s experiences for much of the inspirational music in my repertoire.

A wonderful evening of music was enjoyed at the Margaret Aylward Centre, Glasnevin celebrating the 10th anniversary since its opening in 2014. The Holy Faith Past Pupils’ Choir, directed by Marie Dunne CHF provided a repertoire of spiritual, contemporary and some sing-along favourites on the evening.

Marie’s new album
THE WATER OF LIFE
Marie’s new album THE WATER OF LIFE has just been released. The is a compilation of mainly new compositions, with some new arrangements to a couple previous compositions.
The vocalists featuring on the album are Katie O’Flaherty, Sarah Gordon, Alan Hynes. And Brian Gilligan, along with the Saint John of God Choir.
The CD is available at a number of retail outlets including Knock Book Shop (Knock) and Veritas (Dublin).
The album is also available on Spotify and other Social Media outlets.

MARY - COURAGEOUS ONE
Marie Dunne CHF
Marie released a collection of hymns in December entitled Mary Courageous One. It is a compilation of previously composed pieces with a Marian theme. The pieces are performed by a variety of singers: Patricia Bourke D’Souza, Linda Ledwidge and Katie O’Flaherty.
The CD is available at Knock Book Shop, Co Mayo and at the Divine Master Liturgical Centre, Blackrock, Dublin. It can also be sourced from Faithstar Publications through this website.

A CANDLE FOR YOU -
Marie shares this new video of A CANDLE FOR YOU. While the song has been sung at many events over the years since it was composed in 2012, this latest video recording has been specially created at this time when there is so much darkness and uncertainty around for so many people.
It is beautifully performed by Celine Byrne and produced and arranged by Mark Cahill. The filming and editing has been done by Aidan Farrelly. The filming took place in St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge.

LOVE'S JOURNEY
Songs of the Heart
Love’s Journey is an EP of songs composed by Marie Dunne CHF. The lyrics reflect the theme of love, commitment, and friendship, while acknowledging the strength and hope one can draw from another in difficult times. In addition to these themes, the songs In Their Memory and Beyond the Rainbow honour the memory of loved ones who have passed on, but whose love has left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of those who travelled love’s journey with them.
All music and lyrics are by Marie Dunne. Vocals on the EP are by Sarah Gordon and Eugene Ginty.

NEW HYMN IN HONOUR OF ST JOSPEPH
Continuing this special year dedicated to Saint Joseph, this is the latest recording of the song Joseph Ever Faithful. This version of the song has been produced in conjunction with the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God. The audio of this recording is available on Spotify and iTunes. JOURNEY TO YOUR HEART
At this time, many are suffering the recent loss of loved ones, where their pain is most felt in their hearts. While the heart indeed is a special place, it is also a sacred place, where at its deepest, we can find love and strength in the heartbreak, the sadness and in the memories of loved ones we have lost. This song - Journey to Your Heart - invites us to take that journey into our heart, knowing we are not alone on the journey, and where we will find the One who loves us waiting for us.
